Opens its first megastore in Brussels

The brand now has 41 retail outlets in Belgium with this new 1100 m2 store

Barcelona, 24 October 2016 – MANGO is consolidating its presence in Belgium with the opening of a new store. The Belgium capital is the location for a new 1100 m2 store distributed on two floors, making it the fourth MANGO megastore in the country.

The store, located in the new Docks Bruxsel shopping centre, stocks the woman’s (MANGO), men’s (MANGO Man), children’s (MANGO Kids) and baby (MANGO Baby) lines and is now the 41st MANGO store in the country, since the brand first arrived in the Belgium capital in 1997.

As well as Brussels, other Belgian cities such as Ghent and Antwerp already have a megastore, bringing to 4 the total number of megastores in the country. First implemented worldwide in late 2013, the megastore concept is based on stores with a selling space of between 800 and 3000 m2 that stock all or most of the group’s lines. Worldwide, the company has transformed over 24% of its selling space during the last 3 years in accordance with this concept and has opened 170 stores of this type.

MANGO was founded in 1984 and is today one of the leading fashion groups in the world. Based in its city of origin, Barcelona, the company has an extensive store network of 800,000 m2 in 110 countries.
