MANGO CONTINUES ITS EXPANSION IN EUROPE WITH A NEW MEGASTORE IN GERMANY

The store, located in the city of Oberhausen, will have a surface area of 1,400 m2 and will stock the Woman, Man and Kids lines

Barcelona, 3 June 2015 – MANGO continues to expand throughout Germany and is opening a new store in the city of Oberhausen, taking the total number of stores in Germany to 137.

Since it first opened in the country in 1996, MANGO has extended its store network in Germany, making it one of the most representative markets in terms of turnover.

The new store, located in the Centro Shopping Center, will stock the Woman, Man and Kids lines, under the Megastore concept launched by the company in 2013. Including this one, there are now 17 stores in Germany which offer all or most of the group’s lines (Woman, Man and Kids).

These retail outlets have been designed for the comfort and enjoyment of customers in a dynamic environment resulting from the harmonisation of space, considerably improving the customer experience:large and luminous stores where it is easier to view the collections and easier to select and try on garments.  

In the last three years, continuing with this time and resource-intensive commitment, MANGO has opened 164 megastores worldwide, 63 of which were opened last year.The challenge has resulted in transforming 24% of its total selling space in record time.
