The General Manager, Toni Ruiz, makes the final additions to the team responsible for the online transformation of Mango.

César de Vicente will be the new Global Retail Director and will be responsible for planning and managing market activity.

David Gutiérrez, the new Global Human Resources Director, will manage the cultural change that will oversee the company’s online transformation.

Mango is strengthening its management team with the recruitment of César de Vicente and David Gutiérrez, as new Global Directors of Retail and Human Resources, respectively.With the recruitment of both directors, the company concludes the corporate strengthening it has been engaged in during recent months.

In his new role, César de Vicente will be responsible for planning and managing all the markets in which the company is present and developing best practices in management and operations, in order to maximise sales and profitability.For his part, David Gutiérrez has been recruited to manage the cultural change required to manage the company’s online transformation and in order to integrate all the company’s HR functions.

Both directors will report to Toni Ruiz, the company’s General Manager, and will sit on its Steering Committee.

César de Vicente has developed his professional career at Kiabi over the last thirteen years.The first ten years were as General Manager of the subsidiary in Spain, and the last three were spent managing the Cross Channel Retail area worldwide.He has also occupied management positions at Promod, Decathlon and Sport Zone (Sonae Group).He has a degree in Business Studies from the University of Valladolid, and a master's degree in International Commerce from the Technical University of Madrid.

David Gutiérrez has more than 20 years’ management experience in corporate and operational environments.In the last three years, he has occupied the post of Chief People Officer at Privalia.Previously he headed up the Human Resources Retail area at Foot Locker Europe, where he spent more than ten years, and prior to this he was the Regional Manager for Operations and HR at Kiabi.He has a degree in Business Administration from the SKEMA École Supérieure de Commerce in France.

These recruitments are in addition to the ones made during recent months.At the beginning of the year, Mango appointed Josep Barberà, from the online world, as its new Chief Financial Officer.It subsequently strengthened the supply chain team with the appointments of José Ignacio Ejido, as Supply Chain Projects and Operational Control Director, and Sergio Márquez, as Supply Chain Project Manager, both with considerable experience in the fashion retail sector.This is in addition to the last appointment, Diego Sebastián, as Customer Experience and Retail Director, who has considerable international experience in the development of new store concepts and omni-channel selling.
