The sustainable collection is now on sale on the website and in selected stores

Mango launches the new exclusive collection designed by Sofia Sanchez de Betak, Chufy x Mango.Sofia is a fashion director, consultant and designer of the fashion firm that bears her name, “Chufy”, and has collaborated with Mango for over four years. As well as posing for various campaigns, in 2019 she attended the MET Gala dressed in one of the Mango’s creations. It was the first time a Spanish brand had attended the most prestigious event in the fashion industry.

The Chufy x Mango collection is inspired by an imaginary of sensations, aromas and images of trips featuring the Mediterranean as a backdrop. Following a joint creative process, the Mango ambassador and the brand’s design team have created a capsule collection of six dresses made using sustainable fabrics, such as organic cotton and recycled polyester. For Chufy, “this collection is the result of a long and fruitful relationship with the Mango family and myself. After years of collaborating we’ve got to understand each other so well, and enjoy the creative process so much, that working together feels natural and joyful. Still, having my work travelling the world alongside such an iconic brand is an honour I never imagined posible”.

Boho prints are the stars of the collection: floral, paisley and geometric. The silhouettes have a relaxed style, with details such as frills, cords and textures, and will appear alongside the boho trend in the general collection during the month of May. Justi Ruano, Mango’s Design Director, commented: “We have known Sofia for some time and we are on the same wavelength, so collaborating with her was a pleasure. Her effortless style and naturalness fit perfectly with our brand and it was so easy to work with her, she is such a creative person”.

The exclusive collection is available on the official website and in selected stores in countries such as Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Poland, Turkey, UAE, the United States and Spain.

Mango has collaborated on various occasions with brands, artists and talents whose style and values are similar to its codes and its universe. This project reinforces the firm’s active role in connecting with its community and its desire to continue inspiring through its passion for style and culture.
